New Jersey – American Elevator Group (“AEG”), today announced additional acquisitions of Standard Elevator (“Standard”), and Dura-Lift Elevator (“Dura-Lift”), further developing their ability to offer comprehensive elevator services throughout the state.
Standard Elevator, founded in 1979, is an independent provider of elevator maintenance, modernization and installation services in New Jersey and the adjacent New York City metropolitan area.
Established in 1997, Dura-Lift provide installation, modernization, repair and maintenance services across the entire New Jersey and New York tri-state area. The Company references Coca-Cola, United Airlines, and Nature’s Bounty among their impressive list of clients.
Jersey Elevator’s President John Sweeney, another recent AEG acquisition, welcomed Standard and Dura-Lift to AEG, commenting “Since we became a part of the AEG development journey, Jersey Elevator has enjoyed significant positive assistance and attention from our new colleagues. They are certainly helping us expand our horizons. These are exciting times!”

Established in 1977, EHC Global is a leading manufacturer and supplier of escalator handrails, rollers, elevator belts, strategic components and integrated solutions for the vertical transportation industry. EHC Global also provides a comprehensive range of technical services for escalators and moving walkways, including installations. The acquisition of EHC Global is in line with Prysmian Group’s strategy to grow and reinforce its value-added businesses. EHC Global is a complementary add-on to the Group’s Draka Elevator business, broadening its product portfolio with a wide range of escalator products and services.

Lexington, KY, and Windber, PA – American Elevator Group (“AEG”), today announced the completion of investments in Kentucky-based DC Elevator, and Pennsylvania’s Eastern Elevator, expanding their service footprint across the Eastern United States.
Founded in 1977, DC Elevator is recognized as the largest independent elevator company in the state of Kentucky, with offices in Lexington, Louisville, Hazard, and Charleston, WV, and satellite offices in Florence and Paducah.
Eastern Elevator, established in 1959, serve customers throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Eastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia.
Regarding the investments, Karen Kennedy Dodds, CEO of Kencor Elevator, themselves a recent AEG acquisition, commented on behalf of AEG, saying “We have known DC Elevator and Eastern Elevator for many years, and are excited to have them become part of AEG.
