Minden, NV- On March 23rd & 24th 2022 Maxton provided three elevator control valve training classes for 15 mechanics from University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. These classes provide the mechanics with credits (4.0 CET/CAT credit hours) through the NAEC’s approved Continuing Education Program. Each session included classroom instruction and practical hands on application through valve adjustment and troubleshooting common field issues with the Maxton TA4M training unit.
Here are just a few comments from elevator mechanics in attendance:
“Hands on trainer was very helpful to apply classroom and field conditions together.”
“Really enjoyed the class. Great info and insight. Hope we can schedule again.”
“Troubleshooting on trainer while being instructed and follow the process with Landon was very helpful.”
Following each training participants show noticeable strides in confidence, efficiency, and ability to target key information from the classes where they have the most to gain in solving problems within their facilities.
“The team at U of A was very inquisitive during both the classroom and hands-on portion of the training. Due to their questions, I was able to give in-depth information into one of the biggest areas of concern (hot oil) and how it effects the overall performance of their hydraulic elevator systems,” said Landon Smallwood, Maxton Quality Manager/Tech Support Supervisor.
